Students gathered at Coding Mind Academy in Redmond for an in-person team programming contest. Teams of three tackled eight problems over three hours, with C++, Java, and Python supported.
The day included a practice contest, a pizza lunch, and an awards ceremony.

2026 details.
Who was eligible?
The competition was open to any pre-college student. Prior competitive programming experience was not required.
How were teams formed?
Students could register together or sign up individually. The organizers helped individuals find teammates.
How were solutions scored?
An automated judge checked solutions. There was no partial credit.
Were AI tools allowed?
AI coding assistants, large language models, and other external code-generation tools were not allowed during the competition.
What did participants need?
Participants were asked to bring a laptop and charger. Internet access and a free pizza lunch were included.
